Indian Preference Office assists in recruiting and referring
qualified Tribal member to employers who are working on the
Flathead Reservation, we also assist in hiring Tribal
members on large timber sales.
Indian Preference serves as the Tribal liaison between
contractors, vendors, and tribal members when complaints
dealing with work issues or when conflicts arise.
Indian Preference Office certifies a business as Indian
Preference. To register as an Indian preference business you
must complete a
Indian Preference Business Registration Application and
mail it to:

- MONTANA LINES – is looking for workers in the following areas: concrete, steel, earthwork, wiring, cranes, and traffic to learn Traffic Signal Trade.
- KNIFE RIVER – is looking for cement truck drivers for Polson and CDL driver, operators and laborers for the Kalispell area.
- WICKENS CONSTRUCTION – is looking for a laborer trainee for a project in Hobson, Montana.
- PROMARK – is looking for a laborer with a CDL for a full time seasonal position. Promark does paint striping and rumble strips.
