Agricultural Planning...
Agricultural Planning is responsible for:
- Grazing resource inventories
- Rangeland (non-cultivated grazing land) management
planning, including environmental analysis, plan
implementation and monitoring
- Cropland and pasture conservation planning, including
environmental analysis, implementation and monitoring
- Conservation and protection of environmentally-sensitive
and other key areas
The goal is to enhance and maintain multiple resource
values and opportunities, and to manage for sustainable levels
of production that are environmentally sound, economically
viable and socially acceptable.
Tribal and federal policies that guide management of
agricultural resources are listed in
Volume II, Chapter 4 of the Comprehensive Resources Plan.
